Solid Rock Stays is committed to making solidrockstays.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnification.

Context: ADA Title III (which applies to private businesses like Solid Rock Stays) does not have a codified technical standard the way Title II does for government sites. But courts and plaintiffs' attorneys widely treat WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the practical benchmark, and website accessibility lawsuits against small businesses have been rising. Publishing this statement, and actually working toward WCAG 2.1 AA, is a genuine risk-reduction step — not just boilerplate.

1. Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the most widely recognized standard for web accessibility. This includes efforts such as:

Providing meaningful text alternatives for images
Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
Ensuring the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone
Using clear heading structure and descriptive link text
Keeping forms labeled and usable with assistive technology

2. Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix. We periodically review the Site and work to address issues as they're identified. Some third-party tools or embedded content on the Site may not be fully within our control, and we work with vendors to improve accessibility where possible.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know so we can fix it.
